Original movie prop from the Russell Crowe Oscar winning epic Gladiator. A barbarian-style stunt sword used on the famous set near Farnham (UK) where the monstrous opening battle was shot with the help of 2000 extras.

Made from hard re-enforced black rubber with a handle shaped into the likeness of a celtic bird's head and the blade painted in dark silver. This weapon was used by the Germanic hordes in the film's action packed opening and measures ~ 75 cm in length.
