Original movie prop from the spectacular "Gladiator" movie starring Russel Crowe as the roman general Maximus. The arrow was special made for the memorable opening battle of the movie, which was shot in Farnham, Surrey. The majority of arrows were ignited and fired by air cannon across the film-set. This is one of the very few remaining, untorched arrows that survived the shooting as a stunt prop - the others were burnt irrecoverably on set.

The arrow measures around 92 cm (36 inches) and is made of wood. The arrow tail was made cost-efficiently from carton. The prop was obtained directly from a member of the crew after filming.
